The actress will finally be back in France for the Cannes Film Festival and will attend, at least, three events…

The actress will be Godmother of the Trophée Chopard on May 20 at 7:00 PM.

As godmother, Zhang will present the award to both a male and female young actor on the rise. She follows “Godmother” Diane Kruger, who presented the award to Joe Alwyn and Elizabeth Debicki at Cannes film Festival 2018.

Then, she will introduce a special screening of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon on May 21 at 9:30 PM.

Ziyi will attend an event called “Rendez-vous” on May 22 at 4:30PM, a conversation hosted by Yves Montmayeur at the Cinéma de la Plage. This masterclass will be the opportunity for Ziyi to share a lot about her career. Silvester Stallone, Alain Delon and Nicolas Winding Refn will also have their own masterclass.
