Yesterday, Ziyi attended the 20th Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards. She was awarded the Best Actress prize for The Grandmaster. She previously won this award in 2005 for 2046. The Actress expressed her wish to work with more Hong Kong directors in the future.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who accepted the award for her performance in “The Grandmaster” at the event that was held on 5 March, expressed, “I have not starred in many Hong Kong movies since working with Wong Kar Wai on “2046”.”

“I felt my performance and my English language have improved, but not my Cantonese. Thus I hope to work with various Hong Kong directors, such as Derek Yee,” said the actress.
