It’s time to watch the third episode of I Am An actor. This week, Jia Zhangke was there as a guest judge.

The second episode of I Am An Actor have just aired tonight and it’s now on Youtube. In this episode, Ziyi and Du Chun were reunited in a play directed by Chen Kaige. Ann Hui was invited as a judge for this episode.

The first episode for the second season of The Birth of an Actor, now called I Am An Actor, was just aired in China tonight. We had the chance to see Chen Kaige, as well as a play retelling a scene of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Enjoy!

New promotional posters for I Am An Actor were just unveiled. The first episode will officially air this Saturday at 20:15 on Chinese televisions.

Beautiful TV spots were released in China to promote I Am An Actor featuring the 3 judges taking part in their own previous works. The one with Ziyi is really amazing and include scenes from The Road Home, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, 2046, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Grandmaster and The Wasted Times.

The talent show will return for a second season and with a new name: “I Am An Actor“. Ziyi, Xu Zheng and Wu Xiubo are mentors, Zhang Guoli, like the past season will be hosting and recommanding actors.
