Omega SA is a Swiss luxury watchmaker based in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. Founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848, the company formerly operated as La Generale Watch Co. until incorporating the name Omega in 1903, becoming Louis Brandt et Frère-Omega Watch & Co. In 1984, the company officially changed its name to Omega SA and opened its museum in Biel/Bienne to the public. Omega is a subsidiary of The Swatch Group. -Source

2009

In 2008, Ziyi became the face of the famous luxury brand “Omega”, promoting the product line “Constellation”. Launched in 1982, the brand’s Constellation watch has a new concept design. The watch became one of the “world’s most instantly identifiable timepieces“.
The first promotional picture was released in December 2008 and was photographed by Hai Fong (picture 1). Ziyi was wearing a Brushed Quartz Connstellation watch. Soon after, in the beginning of 2009, the brand lauched the first print ad of Ziyi wearing a Brushed Quartz Connstellation watch (picture 2).

In August, Ziyi promoted the brand for the first time in Shanghai, China.

In October of the same year, the brand launched a new print ad with various Constellation watches (Polished Quartz, Brushed Quartz, Luxury Edition…)

The same month, Ziyi promoted the brand in Singapore. While promoting the watch, Ziyi is photographed as a watchmaker.

2010 – 2011

Ziyi promoted the brand around the world between 2010 and 2011. In April 2010, she went to Tokyo in Japan. In June 2010, she was in Los Angeles, USA to promote the brand in the city’s china town. Her next stop was in Seoul (September 2010) and then Guangzhou in China (November 2011).

2012

In February, Omega released new print adverts to promote the Brushed Chronometer Constellation watch. A video of the photoshoot was also uploaded online.

2014

In December 2014, a photoshoot for Omega along with a few behind-the-scenes videos were released. These gorgeous pictures were photographed by Philippe Le Sourd while Ziyi was in Paris.
