2008-2009 – Veva S60
In September 2008, Ziyi was invited to be the spokesperson of the Qiao Xing’s new mobile luxury brand. Commenting on the occasion, Qiao Xing Mobile chairman, Mr. Wu Zhi Yang, said: “We are very pleased to have Miss Zhang Ziyi as the spokesperson for our VEVA brand handsets in China. We believe that this will greatly lift the image of the brand name and help position VEVA as one of best luxury brands in the Chinese mobile handset market.”
She promoted the device S60 that was previously released in May, filming a TV Commercial that aired not long after she signed for Veva. A second TV Commercial was released in 2009 featuring footages of the preview advert.
