After My People, My Country and My People, My Homeland, a new entry (我和我的父辈) of the nationalist anthology trilogy is slated for an October 1st release in Chinese theaters, and Ziyi is both directing and acting in the second short. Today, Ziyi was in Shanghai to attend the Weibo Movie Night, or the Weibo Movie Awards. The actress was awarded with the Most Influential Actress Award, a prize she also won in 2019.

Ma Yin, the chairman of the festival, Meng Jinghui, Chen Minghao and Ziyi were in Beijing of March 27th to attend the press conference of the 2021 Aranya Theater Festival. Ziyi will participate as one the artistic directors, along with Meng Jinghui and Chen Minghao. The festival will be held in Anaya in Hebei province from June 10th to 20th.
ByteDance recently launched their new learning application for kids, Guagua Dragon, and they chose Ziyi as their spokesperson, just like they did when the same company launched GogoKid. The TV commercial and a making-of were added to the site.

Yuan Hong, Zhou Yiwei and Ziyi participated in the sixth episode of the Chinese TV show Trump Card 《王牌对王牌6》 to promote The Rebel Princess. The were all dressed in period drama costumes, impersonating their character from the show. Ziyi even had the chance to dance to the theme song of The Rebel Princess.
