My Lucky Star Shooting in Macau

The press was invited in Macau to visit the set and attend a press conference. We learnt that the love story of this film is different from “Sophie’s Revenge”. Ziyi said that she was certain that everyone will love this new romantic comedy. Moreover, the director of the film said that Ziyi was a very talented actress and she revealed that Wang Leehom and Ziyi had many kissing scenes… She expect the audience’s satisfaction!

More pictures Additions

2 news stills and 3 pictures on the set of Dangerous Liaisons were added in the gallery. We also had the chance to see pictures of yesterday when Ziyi was filming a scene for My Lucky Star in the Marina Bay Sands resort in Singapore.

Ziyi was also featured on several articles of TIFF guest list. It’s very likely that she will walk on the red carpet in Toronto this year!

We have a brand new gallery to celebrate the “Dangerous Liaisons” screening at TIFF. We hope you’ll like it. The gallery has been updated with new stills of “Dangerous Liaisons” and new set pictures of Ziyi shooting “My Lucky Star” with Wang Leehom in the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore. Finally, Ziyi was spotted at Wang Leehom’s concert in Singapore on Saturday 18th.

Sophie’s Revenge 2: News

The shooting of Sophie’s Revenge 2 (非常幸运) will start in Hong Kong first, and then in Singapore, Macao and other places. The film will be produced in part by Ziyi. It will be directed by a non-Chinese director called Dennie Gordon who worked for Ally McBeal, The Office, White Collar and other films. The whole cast is not yet known, but we already know that famous Chinese actor Wang Leehom is part of it alongside Zheng Kai.

Moreover, this sequel seems to be quite different. Indeed, this sequel will be an adventure romantic comedy. Here’s the first plot:
Whereas Sophie (Ziyi) goes to the Singapore Tourism, she meet the man of her dreams, David. But Sophie will wrecked David plans who wants to trace the whereabouts of a diamond. The two embark on the adventure.
